We’re celebrating this week having beaten off some tough competition to get ourselves a coveted place on this year’s Mixology Commercial Interior Project Of The Year shortlist.
One of six finalists, Saracen made it onto the list with the work we did for global network services provider, Tata Communications at its prestigious address on the north bank of the River Thames by Southwark
Part of a full fit out, our designs for Tata aimed to reflect the company’s vision of a mobile, flexible working environment that encourages innovation through collaboration and we worked closely with the client to achieve that goal.
Key considerations included how best to encourage collaborative working, while allowing those sitting in the open plan environment the space they might require for maximum concentration and privacy. Ultimately, we’re always conscious that environment affects performance and we design with that most critical factor, paired with staff well being, in mind.
We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for this particular project as it perfectly illustrates what we do and how we go about it, reflecting the quality of our work and the exacting attention to detail that reinforces the professionalism and high standards of our team.
Apparently, we were up against some large, reputable architectural firms who operate at a global level, undertaking high-profile projects on a regular basis. It’s great to swim in the same pool as these guys and to know that we can stand with them when it comes to effective, attention-grabbing designs.
We’ve been shortlisted on the project’s relevance and merit and we look forward to being judged by a panel of our peers; experienced architects, designers and consultants who value good design. Until then, making the shortlist is endorsement enough and we’re delighted to celebrate that.
A big well done to all the team who were involved in this outstanding project.
