Following on from the completion of the refurbishment and fit out of Royalty House on King Street in Watford, Saracen Interiors is once again teaming up with Aspect Property Group to help the commercial property investment expert with the renovation and refurbishment of up to 13 apartments on Watford High Street.
Aspect is hoping to sell the mix of one and two-bedroom apartments once all works – including the installation of new kitchens, bathrooms, internal walls, to include thermal insulation and modern acoustics, and UPVC double glazing – have been completed by the interiors specialist early next year.
Work began on the buildings, which started out as commercial premises, in August 2013 following hard on the heels of the handover of Royalty House. Saracen has since been shortlisted for the prestigious ‘Consulting Engineer of the Year’ award for its work on the commercial property. Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page comments: “We’re pleased to be working with a company that we have delivered such great results for, and had our work so highly regarded by, once again.
“Not only do we have a good track record of supporting Aspect but it also gives us a great opportunity to demonstrate that we can hone our skills to accommodate a residential environment as oppose to the usual commercial surroundings that we are mainly known for. We are looking forward to proving ourselves outside of our recognised comfort zone and proving that, as a company, we can turn our hand to any project.”
Daniel Berko, head of property for Aspect Property Group, adds: “Saracen is adept at demonstrating an excellent level of commitment and a willingness to dedicate itself fully to any project, regardless of the environment. The team will always rise to a challenge and are happy to problem-solve and provide the most effective solutions that always end up saving us both time and money and delivering the best possible outcomes. It’s great to work with them once again.”
