Project: Building Refurbishment
Project Size: 25,000 sq ft
Timeline: 24 weeks
The dilapidation project involved the cleaning of the exterior building, including guttering and drainpipes, the removal of carpet tiles, ceilings, window film and wallpaper plus the dismantling of partitioning. The second part of the project involved a complete refurbishment of the existing building across four floors, the renovation of the underground car park and the building of an extension to the ground floor to allow for restaurant use. Works also included a mechanical and electrical installation package that is expected to reduce the building’s energy bills by up to 50 percent. Royalty House has been transformed to its former glory for future tenants and has given King Street a landmark building
“Saracen has shown complete commitment and dedication to this project from the start. We were highly impressed by the designs that were presented to us in the first instance. Since then, the relationship has been firmly cemented by hard work and an ability to think quickly and problem solve by the team on the ground. They’ve been incredibly professional and sensitive to the environment that they are working in and we are confident we chose the best partner to see this project through.” Daniel Berko, Head of Property, Aspect Property Group
