Saracen Interiors transformed the workspace and office environments for Dimension Data, a leading global Systems Integrator and Managed Services provider. Recognised as one of the five top employers in the world, Dimension Data partnered with Saracen to rennovate and redesign four of its key UK offices, to improve workspaces, enhance collaboration and support business growth.

Work was initially completed at Dimension Data’s Lichfield offices and comprised of a 15,000 sq ft refurbishment across two floors, to include the installation of new furniture and the fit out of a tea point and break out area. The space was completely redecorated, with graphics and manifestations.

In January, Saracen completed works for the company’s UK headquarters in Fleet,  following a seven week, fast-track project. It consisted of the refurbishment of the reception area and large collaboration break out area featuring  timber slats and bespoke booths, fresh wall graphics and the installation of an ecological living wall.

The leading workplace consultant also began fit out work at a second location, Cygnus House, in Fleet for Dimension Data during January. Work covered a 5,000 sq ft space and was completed at the end of March. It included a full redesign and build of the workspace environment; creating more dynamic collaboration areas, flexible meeting rooms and office spaces and a refit of the canteen area.

To complete Dimension Data’s workspace transformation programme, work has now commenced on its London office, which will cover approximately 12,000 sq ft of space.

The designs for Dimension Data reflect current trends as they are clean and bold, incorporating and reflecting the colours associated with the brand, and allow for a free workflow, with a mix of public and private spaces. A living wall is included at the Waterfront House site reflecting the move towards biophilic design, which is commonly associated with reducing stress levels, enhancing creativity and improving well-being.

We are delighted to have established such a strong relationship with this client and are looking forward to continuing to play a part in the creation of an eye-catching corporate identity for Dimension Data across its commercial portfolio: “This partnership has been based very much on the strengths of the designs that Saracen can offer in what is a very competitive market place.

“Office design is now recognised as being fundamental to commercial performance and it is key to agree on a design that will support the brand, while promoting efficient working, and that is also practical and economical to roll out across other addresses, providing a uniformity of approach.”
